The Southern Sector of Bwindi (Rushaga & Nkuringo) offers some of the most dramatic and steep terrain in the park, providing a true “Impenetrable Forest” experience. This region is home to several habituated gorilla families and offers breathtaking views of the Virunga Volcanoes.
- Morning: Early breakfast and briefing at the Rushaga or Nkuringo ranger station.
- Activity: Guided Gorilla Trekking. Spend 1 hour observing the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
- Evening: Return to the lodge for relaxation.
- Dinner & Overnight: At your selected lodge.
- Morning: Early breakfast and transfer back to Kisoro Airstrip.
- Flight: Return flight to Entebbe (Depart 08:45 AM / Arrive 11:25 AM).
